CDPCE has done a lot within communities around the North West Region to promote the strengths and abilities of young women and some families.

In 2014, Our volunteers helped strengthen innovative ideas to move gender mainstream and give an open way to address inequalities among women based on experience exchange in promoting women empowerment through educational workshop both formal and non-formal.

The objective of the workshop was to understand the theoretical issues arising from the practice of the education of women with various communities and to develop research designs on women’s education and empowerment for possible collaboration in selected areas and explore means of operationalising the term women empowerment.

The workshop helped to promote the strengths and abilities of women and young girls who had the zeal and enthusiasm to promote gender equality and to help promote peace with various Women Association with their respective communities.
